painted in winter park florida. my master, robert l. anderson said "i wish i had thought of that. i was fifteen years old. anderson gave me the attic in his old farmhouse. he ven let me bring the model upstairs to finish the painting.
the original, 2X4 feet on gessoed masonite 1/4 inch, was stolen while i was on the venice boardwalk in 2000. i was staying at the venice beach hostel on windward and pacific ave.
i thought i could leave my set-up to go back for more paintings to show. i reported it to the police dept. some day it will show up in a museum.
